Pride is about communities coming together in celebration and solidarity and it’s even more vital for those in our communities who may be less visible or feel more marginalized at this time.

To achieve equality we need to ensure every LGBTQ+ person, of every colour and every background, is able to enjoy equality in and outside of the workplace, which is why I continue to make it part of my mission at Quadient to ensure equal opportunity for all. And this means having a workplace that’s truly inclusive, where all LGBTQ+ employees are fully welcomed and accepted, and where all of our people can freely bring their whole self to work.

I am proud to work with a team, and for an organization that supports all of our LGBTQ+ employees and I make it a personal goal for me and my team to work together, stand firm, and accelerate our efforts to champion equality and diversity.

Sadly, our aspirations to take part in Pride Parades this year won’t happen, but our commitment remains strong and we are looking at other ways to voice our support this year.

I believe the first step is about opening up the dialogue and conversations in our company, to help people feel confident about expressing themselves with authenticity and integrity, and for everyone to feel fully accepted and included for the person they are.
